Dusk Till Dawn Events Ghost Hunt at The Cage Witches Prison St Osyth – 6th October 2012 – By Mediums Sue & Michael Treanor

Sunday, December 2nd, 2012

We arrived at The Cage in Essex for a night of ghost hunting a bit worse for wear after a nightmare on the M25, but once we met our guests and got settled in, we really began to soak up the atmosphere of the place..

There was a small room connected to the kitchen area which we all said felt very spooky once the lights were out – I felt very pulled to one of the corners and also the wall which went through to the sitting room. During my table tipping sessions in there, the table literally walked towards the connecting wall over and over again.  Both groups picked up and a man, a woman and a child in this room although he man was the dominating presence. I smelled straw a couple of times, very strongly, and we also had some tapping noises on the table. At one point we thought the group upstairs were running up and down the stairs, but when I shouted up and asked if they had moved, they said there were all sitting on the floor using the Ouija boards! In our second group in this area, several people also heard some very loud growls, 2 or 3 times.

The Cage Mediaeval Witch Prison St Osyth Essex

In the living room area, the table tipped very well again, and again, it seemed to be moving itself towards the connecting wall to the kitchen. We asked if anyone was buried or had died under this wall and the table went wild!  At one point a lady in the group was very, very, frightened by what she described as a hand, which grabbed and pulled her pinkie finger as she was table tipping. At this point, there was enough light from the window for us to see that it definitely was not anyone within the group who had touched her. She took a few minutes to calm down, but like a true ghost hunter, she carried on with the session in the dark! Well done!

As scratching noises have been reported from beneath the toilet floor, we asked one of our group (Dave) to do a lone vigil in the toilet, and although he heard noises, he said he couldn’t be sure where they were coming from.

Upstairs on the Ouija board, both groups received the same answers as to how many spirits inhabit the house (10) and one group got the name ‘Cassie’ the other ‘Carrie’ – very similar. The name Bill was also picked up, an angry man who seemed to like being in the main, larger, bedroom. Michael had picked up earlier that someone had hung themselves just outside this room, which one of the guests confirmed to us (the owner had told the story before we arrived) – could it have been Bill?

This room also produced strange phenomena, in that it became very, very hot (although the rest of the house was cold) and people’s arms and hands seem to be lifted as we formed a circle and asked out to spirit.

All in all, an active nights ghost hunting at The Cage !!

Galleries Of Justice Nottingham Overnight Ghost Hunt

Galleries Of Justice Nottingham Overnight Ghost Hunt – Saturday 22nd January 2011

The Galleries of Justice in Nottingham which has recently been voted as having the most Poltergeist activity in the UK is a foreboding location and not one for the faint hearted you have been warned!

Once a courthouse and jail The Galleries of Justice has made its mark as a terrible place where Men Women and Children were punished for crime’s that by todays standards would be little thought of. Many a poor soul lost their lives here at this very Building by  terrible execution from the hang mans noose,so it should come as no surprise that this location is steeped in emotion and history full to the brim.

There is a vast amount of Ghostly phenomena here. This building is so haunted that the Galleries of justice’s Cleaning Staff will only work in pairs and never alone as in the reception area alone three Ghosts have been witnessed one being a soldier, a Victorian Gent and an old lady.
The Criminal Court Room here has a plethera of activity such as Spirit lights and shadows which have been seen regularly and knockings and raps are often heard in response to questions asked.

Down in the depths of The Galleries of Justice are the very haunted Pits, an area even the Galleries of Justice’s own day time Staff won’t go to!
Underneath the building lurk the pitch black eerie underground Caves where discarnate voices, moans and breathing sounds and lights are often seen and heard. Dark shadows and Poltergeist activity happens here often with small stones thrown and people have been known to be touched by a presence in the darkness.

This is a fantastic location and one that should not  be missed join Dusk Till Dawn Events for an entire nights investigation.
You will have full use of ghost hunting equipment during the Event and take part in Vigils and Psychic Experiments.
The Night will be hosted by experienced paranormal investigator(s)and Psychic/Clairvoyant medium(s) with the experience to place you in area’s that could encourage spectral activity!

Ghost Hunt Supper at Dudley Castle Friday 17th September 2010

GHOST HUNTERS REPORT…..

DUSK TILL DAWN EVENTS AT DUDLEY CASTLE Friday 17TH SEPTEMBER 2010
SUPPER EVENT

MEDIUMS : SUE AND MICHAEL TREANOR

HOST : SUE TREANOR

The guests arrived at about 7pm and were guided up to the Queen Mary Suite, one of the Castle’s restaurants.

After their meal Michael and I did a mediumship demonstration for them, in which they were given personal messages. I read their auras and Michael did a psychometry demo (which means reading the energy from personal belongings).

After they had a ghost walk with the Castle’s caretaker for the evening, Alex, they had about half an hour to explore the castle for themselves and use some of the ghost hunting equipment provided by Dusk Till Dawn.

Then we got on to the real meat of the evening! The vigils !

I took the chequered room, Michael took the Zodiac room (both rooms in the Museum) as we had done a recci beforehand and decided these were the most active areas – and boy were we right!

In the Zodiac room, I had the guests form a circle and did a simple exercise to get the energy flowing. Then we started “calling out” – asking spirit to interact with us and maybe touch someone or show themselves. We didn’t have to wait long for the action to start!

Many people saw (or felt) the shadowy figure of a hooded man moving around the outside of the circle. The man to my left looked like he had a white, pointy beard – similar to those worn in the tudor period.  Then, in the passageway which lead out of the room, some of us saw a bright light – like a torch being switched on and then off again. This phenomena happened again a little later, but this time the light was not quite so bright – maybe the energy had been used up with the brightness of the previous light! In the centre of the circle, once again several people (including Andy, the sceptic in the group!) thought they saw a white, milky energy moving around in small circles, and twinkling lights also moving in the same direction.

In the Zodiac room, a monk was seen and a lady felt like she was being pushed down to her knees in front of him. Several people also felt the presence of an executioner-type figure and actually saw a black energy in front of their face – as if an axe was falling in front of them.

The final vigil took place in the undercroft of the castle, where we all definitely heard the voices of women and men outside and footsteps on the gravel – even though we were the only people in the castle and we were all in one room!

A couple of times during the night, people screamed in fear and we all felt our heartbeats racing away for a few moments!

I must point out that all these phenomena were investigated at the time, every hypothesis we could think of was examined, and we could not explain anything that I have mentioned in this blog – other than it may have been paranormal.

If you fancy doing an overnight investigation or a ghost hunt supper with Dusk till Dawn events, please log on to www.dusktilldawnevents.co.uk – the spirits will be waiting for you………….

Oxford Castle Overnight Ghost Hunt with Barrie John – Saturday 12th December 2009

Tuesday, December 1st, 2009

galofjusDo you have nerves of steel to take part in an Overnight Ghost Hunt at the terrifying Oxford Castle?

Join Dusk Till Dawn Events on an all night investigation with Celebrity Medium Barrie John from Most Haunted.

celebrity_medium_barrie_john_dusk_till_dawn_eventsBarrie John was Guest Medium for series 10 on Most Haunted for living TV as he investigated Oxford Castle along side Yvette Fielding,Karl Beattie and The Most Haunted Team.

Dusk Till Dawn Events have access to Oxford Castle and all its haunted areas including the castle mound – the place of execution for four hundred years!

Oxford Castle is a very imposing Georgian building with a Saxon St George’s Tower and is thought to be one of the most haunted buildings in the country. Throughout its dark and foreboding history, the Castle has served time as a royal residence, a centre of justice and as the county Gaol, hidden from public view behind an impenetrable five metre high stone wall until its closure in 1996.

There have been many reports of paranormal activity at the Oxford Castle site including:

* The Murderer Mary Blandy was tried and hanged at Oxford in 1752, her ghost has been see a number of times walking the Castle Mound
* In the 1970s a group of inmates held a seance in one of the cells sparking poltergeist activity, in the end of priest was called to conduct an exorcism
* A strange white mist has been witnessed rising up a flight of stairs, two prison guards watched in horror as it faded in front of their eyes.
* In the past the Castle has been used as a film set including for the film “The Italian Job”. More recently during filming, a group of film extras heard unidentifiable shouts and screams echoing around the main buildings. On at least two occasions there has been unexplained physical damage to various items stored at the prison.
* Security guards have long been uneasy doing the rounds at night and the most terrifying apparition was spotted by one guard and his dog on a nightly patrol. The dog stopped and growled while its master saw two black figures in front of him, days later the dog died of fright!

May be you will discover the truth behind the Oxford Castle curse (the Black Assize of 1577) when several hundred people died within the space of five weeks and of the terrible conditions endured by the prisoners and of great escapes!

Don’t miss out on the chance to experience the confines of the 18th century Debtors Tower and prison D – wing and the very dark and chilling atmosphere of the 900 year old underground Crypt not forgetting the climb to the Saxon St George’s Tower which is now open to Dusk Till Dawn Events.
