The Skirrid Mountain Inn is said to be the oldest Public House in Wales.
As visited by Most Haunted’s Yvette Fielding and Derek Acorah this historical location is found in the small village of Llanvihangel Crucorney only 5 miles north from the centre of Abergavenny.
It is reputed to be the oldest Public House in Wales with a history that can be traced as far back as the Norman Conquest.
The Skirrid has been an Inn since 1110 but is most famous for its use as the residence of the notorious Hanging Judge Jeffreys'.
Hanging Judge Jeffreys hung 180 rebels from a beam beneath the Skirrid's Inn own staircase.
The actual beam still stands today and still bears the marks from the hangman's rope for all still to see.
So as you can Imagine there are many souls that linger here some friendlier than others!
The Skirrid Inn is thought to be the most haunted public house in Wales, it has certainly seen its fair share of Paranormal activity ranging from flying glasses in the bar area, sightings of ghostly faces within the darkness and dramatic temperature changes along with chilling disembodied voices all of which have been witnessed by many of the visiting guests here.
The start of the night will begin with a Ghost Hunters Supper of Fish, Chips and Peas followed by a sweet(*please be aware of this set menu before booking especially if you follow a set diet or have any food allergies)
This then sets the scene for the night ahead as you are left in the very capable hands of your host and Medium from Dusk Till Dawn Events.
There will be a mini Psychic development workshop and a demonstration of all Ghost Hunting equipment used on Paranormal Investigations and the Medium will show you how to use the many divination tools available such as the pendulum, dowsing rods and the old ancient art of Scrying which you can all experience and experiment with.
Your fantastic night of Ghost Hunting will begin at the witching hour, the stroke of midnight.

Dusk Till Dawn Events have this unique building for an entire Nights Investigation where you have the chance to join in your very own Ghost Hunt at one of the UK'S Most Haunted Locations. The Ghost hunt will begin with a tour followed by all night investigation at this eerie and atmospheric location.
You will have full use of Ghost Hunting Equipment and the night will be hosted by experienced Paranormal Investigator(s) and Psychic Medium(s). You be able to take part in various experiments such as Table Tipping, Glass Divination experiments and calling out watch and wait vigils throughout the Night in the most active parts of the location.
As this Building may get very cold Dusk Till Dawn Events advise Guests to wear warm clothing.
Tea and Coffee and Biscuits are provided by Dusk Till Dawn Events.
Don’t forget to bring along your Camera’s, Camcorders and any other recording equipment you never know you may catch something on film!
