The Hauntings of Margam Castle Port Talbot Overnight Ghost Hunt - Friday 20th April 2012 9:00pm till 4:00am

Join Dusk Till Dawn Events and our guest medium for a night of Ghost Hunting at the very haunted Margam Castle.
Margam Castle is a spectacular Tudor Gothic Mansion and is said to be one of the most haunted buildings in Wales.
The Castle was built between 1830 and 1840 and is a listed Grade I building of exceptional quality and with some spectacular features such as its stunning staircase.
On arrival to this scary location you could be fooled into thinking you are actually stepping into a horror movie with the majestic and atmospheric building looking more like Dracula’s castle!

The Margam estate had been in Thomas Mansel Talbot’s family since 1536, however Thomas Mansel Talbot had demolished the original mansion house in 1787 to replace it with the magnificent Orangery that can be seen in the gardens today. Proud of this ancient family lineage Christopher Rice Mansel Talbot had always been attracted to romantic Margam. He wished to rebuild a suitable country residence which would compliment Margam’s illustrious history.
The site was deliberately chosen for its historic associations and picturesque position at the foot of a wooded historic hill, Mynydd-y-Castell, itself the site of Margam’s earliest habitation, with the ruins of the Cistercian Abbey and the eighteenth century Orangery visible to the West. The prospect of the house, rising above the Orangery and monastic remains to the west is unique in Wales.
This very scary location is a Ghost Hunters dream with an interesting array of Sprits who are said to haunt this building making their presence known to many who have investigated here in the dead of night.
Even Margam Castle’s own Security Guards have reported many strange experiences such as running footsteps, cries and the laughter of Children when the building has been reported to have been empty.
The Spirit of a Game Keeper who worked at the mansion for many years by the name of Robert Scott likes to make his presence known regularly by appearing to people slowly walking down the impressive gothic staircase.
This same spirit also seems to take delight in scaring unsuspecting guests by throwing stones during Vigils and Séances and seems to be responsible for much of the poltergeist activity within the mansion.
This location really is not one for the faint hearted
You have been warned!

You will have full use of ghost hunting equipment during the Event and take part in Vigils and Psychic Experiments such as Glass Divination and Table Tipping.
The Night will be hosted by experienced paranormal investigator(s) and Psychic/Clairvoyant medium(s) with the experience to place you in area's that could encourage spectral activity!

Tea, Coffee and Biscuits are provided by Dusk Till Dawn Events.
Don’t forget to bring along your Camera’s, Camcorders and any other recording equipment you never know you may catch something Paranormal on film!
